Meditation is one of the most natural and yet profoundly rewarding of all human activities. Meditation not only reduces stress and improves physical and emotional well-being, it can help you be more focused, productive and calm regardless of outer conditions. This weekend retreat can help you directly experience the divine realities within — the peace, joy and divine love that are a part of your true nature.  During this program you will learn:

  • A set of basic asanas for beginners which will help you develop a short home practice routine to prepare the body for meditation
  • A few of Yogananda’s Energisation exercises which will help you increase your energy level, as well as gain awareness and control of the inner life-force
  • Basic Pranayama techniques that raise energy, calmness and awareness of breath
  • How, why, when & how long to meditate
  • How to sit comfortably, even for long meditations
  • Two classic techniques for stilling the mind for meditation
  • How they combine into a more powerful technique taught by Yogananda
  • The value and practices of prayer & chanting for deepening meditation
